Have you seen the range of Melissa and Doug Lifelike Animals?
The Melissa and Doug Lifelike Animals Range is exactly what it sounds like, a range of lifelike animals for children. The animals range from Lions to Sloths to Dragons!
Melissa and Doug is such a popular brand with children and parents, everything is always such good quality. We have a number of their wooden toys now and they’re played with almost everyday.
I had wanted to get something from this range for a long time. Just before Christmas the Life Like Giraffe was reduced on Amazon, so I thought why not! I’m so glad I did. It is currently sat in our lounge wearing a hard hat for some reason.
My toddler loves it.
Her face lit up when she realised she had a giraffe delivered by Santa. I couldn’t believe the quality of it when it arrived. It is very solid, and despite my toddlers insistence to ride on it, they’re not designed to be sat on. It is very tall – 1.2 metres to be exact! Although, compared to my toddler it is the perfect size. It definitely has that magic wow factor that only some toys ever achieve. Every time she sees it she gives it a cuddle.
What I love about it is how realistic it is. The fur is so soft and thick, even it’s eyes look like they’re real! We get so many comments from visitors about it, amazed that we have such a massive soft toy in our home!
If you want to take home your very own Melissa and Doug Lifelike Animal, here’s where you can get them:
I have my eye on the giant Flamingo and the Dinosaur next! I’m even tempted to get the Deer for next Christmas.
I was able to visit the 2018 Toy Fair in London in January and took a look around the Melissa and Doug stand. Just look at all these amazing lifelike animals! After seeing them in person, the Sloth is now creeping up there with my favourites. They even had a Unicorn version on display which would be just fantastic in a little ones room!
I would definitely recommend these products, in the eyes of little ones they are just magical!
