Pass the pugs game

What is Pass the Pugs?

Pass the Pugs is a newer version of the classic Pass the Pigs game. Instead of little pigs, this version features little pugs!

We have a Frenchie at home so when I was asked if I wanted to try out this game I knew straight away it would be a hit because they looked so similar to our dog (in a round about way!).

Here’s a brief description of the game from Winning Moves UK:

Take a chance and roll the Pugs in this classic twist on the beloved family game, with Pass The Pugs. Score points according to how your Pugs land – will you get a Faceplant, a Snoozer or a Canine Combo?

The objective of the game is to be the first player to get to 100 points. Every time you roll the pugs, however they land dictates how many points you will get. Some moves are worth more than others so it is down to luck what you get.

What did we think of the game?

Firstly – my daughter loved the game because of the mini pugs. As soon as she saw them they disappeared to go on adventures with her other toys!

Secondly – when we finally got to sit and play it we really enjoyed it! It’s a game of luck as you don’t know how your pug will land so it can get quite competitive. We also liked how the instruction booklet had some pictures of how the pugs land and how many points you get for it so it’s easy to check your score – there’s so many combinations we wouldn’t have been able to remember them all off the top of our head!

The game also comes in a nice carry case so it’s easy to keep all the parts together in your bag or if you are taking it away with you. The pencils, notebook and pugs all fit neatly inside so no lost pieces!

Would I recommend Pass the Pugs?

Yes – we would recommend it! It’s brilliant for keeping in your bag for when you’re out and about, also another good game to take away on holiday as the handy carry case keeps everything inside safely.

Also – the pugs are very cute!
